hi guys,

i am confused, where nexus 1000v will be installed in Lab 2 topology,

will it be on one the blades of UCS-B, or on one of the UCS C series. I can see two C- series server, SRV 3 and 4.

Thanks.

Yes, you need configure one blade to boot across fcoe in UCS section. This blade have one VEM installed. So, if all works, when you access VSM you will see 2 VEMs. (one already there and other is your blade).

So where is the VSM VM at the end? At the SRV3 or SRV4?

I already attempted the lab, but failed. Once the ESXi booted in the UCS blade I was able to see the two VEMs. After applying the ACL I stopped seeing one of them.

Could it be that one of the ESXis mgmt vmk0 is learned via EIGRP from the WAN?
